For nearly 20 years Westward Distillery, based in Oregon USA  have been bringing something unique and new to US Single Malt Whiskey, and are an industry leader for American Single Malts.

There are no short cuts, Westward seek perfection by creating quality and flavour in every step of our long, slow process.
Westward whisky is brewed using artisanal American Ale before being distilled twice in custom low-reflux pot stills and matured in new, lightly charred American Oak barrels.

This Single Malt has been crafted from locally malted barley and matured in lightly charred New American Oak Barrels in Oregon where hot, dry summers and cold, wet winters provide the ideal environment to raise a world class whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Very fruity, dark fruits, honey and maple syrup meet crisp apples and orchard fruits with a subtle note of vanilla throughout
Palate: Sweet and spicy, noticeable Oak and cake notes, with continued apple and baking spices
Finish: Creamy sweetness, Brown sugar and spice
