Chugoku Jozo produce this blended Japanese whisky named Togouchi. This distillry are a little different in there approach to making whisky instead of maturing their spirit in a warehouse they do so in a tunnel. The name comes from where the tunnel is located, in the town of Togouchi, which merged with two other towns to create a larger town called Akiota. This is their no-age-statement expression, the Togouchi Blended Japanese Whisky.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Crunchy nuts cornflakes with honey and earthy peat.
Palate: Vanilla, liquorice and honey sweetness.
Finish: Cereals and spice.
