The Rising is an 11 year old single malt Irish whiskey matured in both new and refill ex-bourbon casks. The spirit is triple distilled, giving a light, smooth character.
This small batch was produced for their first release, only 6 casks were bottled. 1,916 bottles worldwide all of which are individually numbered.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich and sweet at first and plenty of vanilla, toasted oak and peppery spice. Milk chocolate and fruity.
Taste: This whisky is creamy and smooth. More vanilla and plenty of milk chocolate and peppery spices.
Finish: The finish is long and very enjoyable. Toasted almonds, plenty of delicious spice.
