Volume: 700ml ABV: 40% Age: Aged 12 Years Country: Scotland
The Singleton was originally established as a threesome of single malts. The Singleton of Glen Ord was produced as Diageo’s ‘green grassy’ malt which was reserved for Asia. The Singleton of Glendullan a fruity slightly grassy whisky for the US and Canada The Singleton of Dufftown a nutty, spicy which which was for the European market. Due to the demand for each item these whiskies are all available globally. A key driver in Diageo’s single malt portfolio The Singleton malts are well worth exploring.
This Singleton 12 Year Old has been aged in a high proportion of American Oak Casks and a smaller proportion of European Oak Casks.
Nose: Nutty with sweet notes of apple and brown sugar.
Palate: Continued nutty sweetness, then fruity notes and a return to brown sugar and coffee.
Finish: Sweet and lingering nutty notes.
