You can almost hear the heartbeat of whisky as Macallan lies in the central district of whisky making territory. This distillery which was built in 1824 near the river Spey in a tranquil Speyside setting is owned by Edrington & William Grant & Sons. The distillery boasts 18 operational stills helping the distillery produce over 6,000,000 litres of whisky per year. The water used to make this whisky is taken from local bore holes.

Matured in hand picked sherry oak casks from Jerez for 25 years. This is one of the most impressive single malt whiskies we have had in our retail store. Complete with a stunning heavy duty Macallan glass bottle and a well crafted wooden box.
