The Famous Grouse Blended Scotch Malt Whisky (1125 ml)

Volume: 1125ml           ABV: 40%           Age: No Age Statement           Country: Scotland

The Famous Grouse is Scotland’s number 1 selling whisky, with 3 drams being drank every second of the day.  It has reached cult status both in Scotland and around the globe.  Named after the national Scottish game bird, the Grouse. It is a one of the most recognised bottles out there.

This blend has been around for over 200 years, hence it’s right to be named The “Famous” Grouse.  In this handcrafted blend goes a good few of Scotland’s finest single malt Scotch whiskies.  The heart being that of The Glenturret (arguably Scotland’s oldest distillery) with a good helping of Macallan, Highland Park along with others.

Our Tasting Notes

Colour: Shiny amber

Nose: Well balanced oak, with both sherry and vanilla notes coming through.

Palate: Sweet with dried fruit and nut.  A little milk chocolate on the back

Finish: Medium sweet, with some spice and maltiness.
