Douglas Laing Independent bottlers were established in 1948 by Fred Douglas Laing. The company select the finest and rarest whisky stocks from around Scotland and bottle them at the chosen moment of perfection. There is never colour added and they are never chill-filtrated. The stocks which are held for many years and are hand selected and placed carefully inside artistically designed bottles which delivers memorable presentation to every bottle. Douglas Laing specialise in Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Single Grain Scotch Whisky, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky and Blended Whisky.

This blended scotch whisky is a small batch release ‘Vatted Malt’ which marries some of Scotland’s finest maritime malts and aged malts into a real treasure of a whisky.

“Our new expression is in honour of that roguish character who never fails to deliver charm, charisma and just a little bit of cheek”. “Any likeness to Douglas Laing’s managing director is purely coincidental” said Fred Laing, managing director and second generation in the family business.

“The Epicurean, our Lowland “Vatted” Malt joins Timorous Beastie from the Highlands, Scallywag from Speyside, Rock Oyster from the Islands and Big Peat from Islay to complete our Remarkable Regional Malts collection.”
