Sullivans Cove The Original Classic Single Malt Whisky (700ml)

Released by the Tasmanian Distillery (Sullivans Cove) between 1997-1999 as one of their first ever releases. Presented in a rare decanter bottle which was the chosen vessel for transporting this fine Australian whisky to its rightful owner.

The bottle itself is labelled in an older style labelling with the words “Australia’s Best to the World”, if only they had known what was actually about to present itself many years after, or maybe they did!

We have no idea how many of these rare bottles were produced but we do know that Sullivans Cove have never been a distillery to offer large numbers of any bottling.

We’d imagine through research that this bottling is around two to six years old and has been matured in un-charred virgin American oak barrels. It is in excellent condition and still has the label wrapped around its neck.

One worth collecting or opening to experience what the birth of this young distillery was like in the 1900’s.
