This expression has been finished in ex red wine barrels which had previously held heavily peated from Islay, Scotland. And for the first time, you’ll taste coastal, peaty, smoky flavour in our signature fruit-forward whisky. As soon as the distillery sourced the right peated whisky soaked barrels from Islay’s remote heritage distilleries, the experimenting began. Some barrels had been around since as far back as 1968.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Fresh tropical fruit aromas combine with sweet peat smoke and delicious toasted oak.

Palate: Summer berries are enhanced by the peat smoke, orchard fruits of pear and peach lead to toasted oak and dark chocolate.

Finish: The delicate peat smoke and toasted oak deliver a long pleasant finish.
