Part of the 2018 Diageo Special Release series which makes this single malt quite rare and highly sought after. Matured in European refill Oak butts that previously held Sherry. After sampling all the Diageo Special Release bottling’s this is single malt that was the stand out. Bottled at cask strength 57.9% and extremely limited.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Salty with bacon pieces and slightly herbal. Vegetable stock, fresh and vibrant. Some floral characters on the nose too.

Taste: Honey sweetness, pears, apples and melon. Orange salted caramel sweetness and some chocolate orange with cinnamon spice.

Finish: A little nutty with citrus and slightly oily.
