Nant distillery is described as one of the most beautiful in the world and the whisky it produces does not fail to to compliment its looks. A unique combination of pristine natural environment and pure natural ingredients help make this delightful spirit. The estate on which the distillery sits has been growing barley for 200 years which contributes to nearly one-third of its barley needs.

This port cask matured Nant single cask is bottled at 63% abv. Matured in a French oak cask which previously held Port giving this whisky a beautiful sweet nose and wonderful colour.

This one’s very rare indeed and after receiving 94 points from Jim Murray in his Whisky Bible 2014 is a sought after whisky the world over.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Rum and raisin ice cream, granny smith apples, slight hint of oranges and nutmeg.

Palate: Raisins and cherries, cranberries and raspberries spring to mind. Very juicy and wonderfully balanced. Luscious on the palate, perfect sweetness and little touches of oak

Finish: Long finish that has a drying spice perhaps nutmeg or white pepper. Plenty of quality oakiness.
