Mortlach is a favourite Speysider of many whisky enthusiasts, often because they appreciate the meaty, muscular, intense personality their whisky possesses. In fact, it?s garnered the distillery quite a reputation and a nickname – The Beast Of Dufftown! So of course, what they’ve done with the label of our Mortlach is put a massive monster on it and made said monster be harassing the good people of Dufftown! He?s even put some of them in whisky barrels and sent them rolling down the hill! How rude.

Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Sugar-topped shortbread biscuits, grilled pineapple and basil leaf.

Palate: Vanilla-y biscuit-y goodness continues, followed by a touch of barrel char.

Finish: Creamy caramel and oat, with a touch of mint leaf.
