Angus Dundee are an independently owned company founded on the love of whisky. They own the Tomintoul and Glencadam distilleries in Scotland and also boast the independently bottled whisky range named MacKillop’s Choice. Montgomeries is also an independent bottling available from Angus Dundee which celebrates single cask whisky from mainly Scottish distilleries. The whisky is sourced from the distillery and presented at 46% ABV with no chill filtration and no added colour. These are rare findings of aged single cask whisky. Each bottling celebrates the distillery by enhancing the combination of cask and unique spirit.

This Speyside single malt whisky was drawn from cask 15019 in September 2017. It was matured for 21 years in a single ex-Bourbon cask and bottled at 46% ABV.

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Peanut butter bars, roasted nuts, baking spices and garden herbs.

Palate: Delicious tropical fruits combine with figs and dates and roasted chestnuts.

Finish: Pistachio toffee brittle, ripe pears and polished oak.
