The Margaret River Distilling Company was established to enhance Cameron Syme’s love of Australian craft spirit. Cameron is the owner and Master Distiller for the Great Southern Distilling Company which is situated in the South of Western Australia. Limeburners Single Malt Whisky, Giniversity Gin, Tiger Snake Whiskey and Dugite Whiskey are the core brands under the One Family, Three Distilleries banner, as founded by Cameron in 2004. These multi award winning spirits are all Australian made using as much local produce and local talent as possible, creating world class drinks for us all to enjoy. The Margaret River Distillery is surrounded by towering forest trees only minutes from the stunning coastline, using local botanicals, local wine barrels from the famous Margaret River wineries and award winning whisky barrels Cameron has created some of the most unique Australian gins imaginable.

This Barrel Aged Gin is handcrafted in small batches. Each release spends time in Margaret River French Oak Shiraz wine barrels, allowing it to develop a stunning red hue that varies slightly from batch to batch. This rich gin is layered with notes of red fruits and spice, finishing with residual sweetness. Botanicals featured include juniper, coriander, cardamom, angelica and citrus. They’ve source freshly emptied shiraz wine casks from some of Margaret River’s best wineries, and take delivery of these unsulphered casks on the day they are emptied. We recommend you pair this bold gin with a slice of dehydrated or fresh orange and a dash of premium Indian tonic over plenty of ice.
