Crafted from a selection of rum reserves which have been matured since 2002.  Distilled using both copper pot stills and a batch kettle system.  Then aged in Bourbon and Single Malt Whisky casks.  After the ageing process the Master Blender, skillfully blends the rum and finally places it into Spanish Sherry casks to give it an even richer finish.  Diplomatico features some of the finest premium rums in the world, with Single Vintage being one of it most remarkable expressions.

Official Tasting Notes

Rich and incredibly flavoursome, silky and rich.  Notes of caramel, vanilla and dried fruits such as raisins , oranges and apricots.  With hints of vanilla and Venezuelan Cocoa.  The aftertaste evokes notes of cloves, licorice, nutmeg and pepper highlighting its delicate bouquet.
