This Adelphi Glen Garioch was distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2015. It was aged in a first fill Spanish Oak sherry cask and limited to 285 bottles worldwide.
Our Tasting Notes
Nose: First reaction is leather, new leather and sherbert dib dabs. Plenty of oak and bitter chocolate.
Palate: Christmas pudding with brandy sauce. good maple syrup, boiled sweets, figs, plums and dates. The oak is again evident and a dryness again says leather.
Finish: A long and exciting finish of buttery caramel, espresso coffee and spice.
