Tucked away in the flats of Northern Balnarring, the Mosselini Vineyard provides one of the best growing conditions on the Peninsula. Sandy loam soils meet with slight sea breeze influence and moderate rainfall. This gives the fruit the best chance to ripen with full flavours. The wines are lovingly made and are given more winemaker attention than many on the Peninsula. Lovely textures combine with beautiful fruit. All of these wines are phenomenal examples for their price.
From some of the oldest Shiraz vines on the Peninsula (planted in the early 90’s). The fruit from the Mosselini vineyard has always been sought after by many Peninsula Producers. It is a highly refined, yet rich expression of a Cool Climate Shiraz (think northern Rhone). Think black currant, licorice, plums and olives.
