This smooth single malt has an elegant full taste and aroma that captures fruity, floral, spicy notes, with fascinating overtones of honey, vanilla, apples, chocolate and nuts.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose: Spicy, nutty, honey, vanilla, floral, fruity with well balanced wood overtones.

Colour: Mid-amber, hints of gold.

Taste: Rounded medium to full bodied, rich honey, vanilla with hints of apples, spice, chocolate and nuts.

Jim Murray Tasting Notes

Nose: Milky Bar kid meets the Man Who Likes to Say Yes. White chocolate with a touch of ripe pineapple and sweet peat. Quite lovely and wonderfully intricate as it oxidises.

Taste: Early, sharp almost acidic malt (is that the pineapple again?). then a waxy sheen as the spicy oak and a touch of honey appear.

Finish: Has thinned out in time-honoured BenRiach tradition, but remains clean and gentle.
